Nope. Just booked mine in for the 1000 km service. I asked about any recalls and nothing was found for my car on their system apparently.

Contacted both dealer & VW Australia and both confirm mine is not affected. No recall.

Was delivered in January off the boat.

Mine wasn't affected either. Arrived at the end of March on the ship.

I received a message from the dealer telling me I need to bring my late-2014 81kw Cross Polo in for this recall. No details though and not sure if it's the cam belt tensioner or cam pulley(s.)

EDIT: 2708 cars affected in Aus, surprised no one here has been affected.

Search for the recall of a specific consumer product or types of products. There are steps suppliers should follow to run a recall and actions consumers should take when a product is recalled.

I'll add that this campaign (15E7) was applied to my Polo end of November. They left no evidence of any serious work and I'm guessing only the plastic cover over the cam sprockets was removed.

EDIT: amazing - no interest here? I've updated my post on the UK board to reflect what I've learned. If your Polo has the new 1.2 litre EA211 and was built plus/minus a few months around mid-2014 you may want to read about it.
