hi guys, what are the best springs to get while retaining the stock shocks? i dont want it to be crazy low. no tyre tuck is required just a nice ride height. i thought about it and i dont want coilovers on this ride, i may change the shocks at a later date. im having a tough time finding the right H&R springs or eibach. there will almost always be 2 adults and a 4 year old in the car so thats why i cant go crazy low as it will be low with the 180kg already in the car

The stock dampers are rubbish so if you don't intend to do dampers then don't do springs.

I'm looking at getting some window tints on my new GTI. I didn't get them done when i bought the car, they seemed kind of expensive through Volkswagon.

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to do window tints in Sydney? How much ball park figure should i be looking at paying?

I'm planning to get mine done at Southside Tinting in Sutherland/Kirrawee. They quoted me $240 which i think is reasonable.

Cannot recommend anyone better than Rob, he's worked on several plus cars and a boat. He's the real deal of perfection / takes pride in his work.

Just hit 1000 on my wife's 1 month old white Polo GTI and loving it.

Windows getting tinted shortly as will be changing all exterior and interior globes to LED.

Springs, spacers and wheels in the next year.

A couple of questions if I may:

1. Possible to set passenger mirror dip on reverse?

2. Also, possible to set auto door lock upon starting to drive?

3. mirror link is asking for a dealer code, do we have this in Oz?

Re MY16 Polo Gti. If RVC camera is now standard, the Driver Assistance package should be cheaper. However, if electronic dampers are now an option, that may probably be put into the DAP package, so option pricing may still be about the same? Comments?
