77TSI Owners - Rear bumper pic needed

Hi All,

Long story short, got rear ended, Capital Smart Repairs - St Marys repaired the rear, bumper looks dodgy, droopy and bowed, they have had 2 attempts to fix it, now GIO are sending me to external assessor.

Is someone able to send me a picture of the same angle as my photo below (possibly a little bit more zoomed out & lower?), so that the assessor can compare what it looked like pre-accident?

Its stretched in the middle That's why its hanging down Will make a great stone scoop on gravel roads LOL

You shouldn't be able to see the little lip at the bottom

Hope this will do


As you see the bottom shot is a bit of a lower angle than your shot but you still cant see the little lower lip

The top shot is level with the lower edge and you still can barely see it.

I reckon if you put your hand up the back it might have been bogged and stretched or if it was dented it stretched then and they have just pulled it out and painted it. Might have heated it a bit to get it out and that may also stretch it.

Ask for a new bumper.

calm your farm, i was silently appreciating your pictures and went away for the weekend.

my appointment was this morning to go show the re-assessor, they are replacing my back bumper again.
