hi guys i have a 12.5 gti polo in last week it has lost power when i stop on a hill . it still runs only at idle speed even with foot flat to floor and rolls back with no park assist working . has done this a dozen times and even did it on the flat once very frustrating does anyone have same problem ?

Sounds like you're getting false neutrals. I will sometimes do fast launches with left foot on brake and right on accelerator, I'm sure that I'm not releasing the brake 100% before hitting the gas and mine doesn't freak out like that, it should only cut power temporarily. If you brake first then apply accelerator then it is ok.
It is only if you are on the accelerator and then press the brake it cuts out.
Basically it is a safety feature, if the fly by wire fails and goes to open throttle. the brake overrides the throttle.
