  • VW Polo bluetooth options

    Hi guys,

As previously mentioned in my introduction.i have bought a VW polo my11 trendline.

Also please ignore my dumbness.i have very minimal knowledge abt the automotives.

I need bluetooth to my car audio.I see there is an option BT audio but it doesn't connect.

So is there any way I can upgrade my audio to a better one or can I add it to the current audio.

It's only for music nothing else.

    Please help me out.

    Thanks

    Hi bro

I think VW has an optional bluetooth moduale you can add to your existing head unit, although you will end up paying dearly for it. The other option is an aftermarket unit. You will need a wiring harness and a CANBUS kit to keep steering controls. Look for something with a Parrot BT unit as they really work.

If you're sticking with the RCD 310 you should look into the base Bluetooth module, I think it's the 9w2, and will cost a bit over 200, rather than 350 for the 9w7 which only seems to benefit the better head units (RCD/RNS 510)
