Anyone retrofitted Polo WRC bumper?

I'm looking at buying the front Polo WRC Bumper for a bit of a change. I think it looks quite cool but I'm wondering has anyone else added it... It only comes in white so would need resprayed etc.

Wonder is it a straight swap or are new wings needed. Would be nice to see if anyone else had tried it!

I doubt it mate because it's not an off-the-shelf item, it along with all the other associated mouldings have to be specially moulded at request of VAG, plus you're on an Australian forum and the WRC isn't available anywhere other than Europe. I got a quote on the front bumper setup, the bumper by itself was going to cost approx $4000 by itself, IF VAG would even pop one off the tool for me. When a bumper (albeit the only one in oz) would cost me a quarter of the value of my car, I thought that it was a bit steep!!

I also considered getting this front bar but now I'm preferring to spend the money more wisely on other mods.

slowly... wont polish up to mirror as running out of time/money for required equipment, but will still look better than they do now.

There's one brand new for £495 on eBay - so God knows how much it costs from VW.

I'm phoning them tomorrow. . . on my way home from work a plastic carton that you store things in, flew in front of me on the motorway and I cracked into it - two small dents on the front bumper right at the bottom on the sticky out bits. Gonna definitely phone VW tomorrow and enquire about how much a GTi, and WRC bumper costs, and whether or not they're both straight swaps. I'll report back!
