  • VW Polo R Line

Hi everyone. Just wanna share my experience on my Polo TSI upgrade. I got a Polo TSI 2010 last year and decided to upgrade it's looks. So I started browsing through ebay and found R Line body kits that are not available in Australia. I also asked you all in this forum last year whether or not the R Line bumper will fit my car and got positive feedback from the forum. So my confidence were boosted and I ordered an R Line bumper from this guy in Germany who I met through eBay. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the rear R Line bumper. So I installed a GTI rear bumper instead and, in my opinion, it looks better. Got it off the same guy from eBay.

I also added minor upgrades like the antenna, from the old one to a shark fin one because I couldn't stand the pointy long antenna. I changed the wheels from the 15" alloy wheels to the 17" denver wheels. I added an R Line badge to my front grill just for kicks.

Here are the photos. Sorry that the quality is bad. These were taken in a spur of a moment. I'm open for suggestions on what I should upgrade next. I'm thinking of lowering it a bit or an ECU reflash.

    This is before the upgrade

No it does not necessarily need to be posted there at all... as this can be considered a 'build thread' if he so willingly chooses to continually update it for the benefit of others.

Can your ebay friend source other Polo parts from Germany that aren't available here? If/when I decide to fix my Gti I would love to get some parts from the Blue GT, also maybe some replacement parts that would be required for the repairs.
