Yesterday I had a friend of mine take my car for a quick spin around the block so he could get an idea of what the performance was like with only one person in the car. It was also a good chance for me to see what the car sounds like from outside.
To my surprise as he took off I noticed a much deeper note from the exhaust than I expected, and noticeable pops and farts on the up changes
from 1-2 & 2-3. I know that this was a notable absence with the polo as opposed to the golf, but I wonder does the addition of modifications to the ecu and intake mean that the exhaust could now "fart"?
