Hi all,
I'm a new member from India and have been around VAG n turbo cars for a while now. Ownership history includes - 2003 USDM Evo 8, 2005 USDM Subaru WRX STI, 2009 USDM Legacy GT Spec B, 2009 Evo X SST, 2012 Skoda Octavia (Laura in India) VRS and now my daily driver a 2013 Polo 1.2TSI DSG (or 77TSI as you guys refer to it).
I'm also not new to modding cars, as the Evo's and STI's were pretty much pumped up to 380-450whp, and the Skoda is currently at a Stage 2(full catless TBE+tune) with Bilstein's B14 setup.
I just started modding my 77TSI but intend to go about it a little less wild focusing now handling and comfort mods.
The Polo 1.2TSI we get here has the nice engine and the 7DSG but everything else is from the base low end model including crappy steering and the low line instrument cluster and a soft + high suspension along with 185/15 wheels along with rear drum brakes.
Just Look at the two fist wheel gap...

So the Mods started. First up - Sparco Asetto Gara allows, 16 (as i still need to drive on potholed roads) and Yoko S Drives with 205 width.

Secondly time to spruce up the interiors and get some comfort n sport feel... Added the R-Line DSG Paddles MFSW, and center armrest. (cant imagine an AT car without one)

Next I ordered a Highline MFD Instrument cluster from the Euro Models with the Blue needles.

Now after installing the cluster I figure out that the Indian Polo comes without the Coolant Level Sensor that sits in the coolant overflow tank. For some weird reason, VW ommitted this in all Polo models, in a part of the world which is known for high temps and bumper to bumper traffic. (SIGH)
