I lost my magnetic money clip with cash and credit cards this evening.
Left the video store with it in my hand.
Not on me when I got home.
In my rush to get back to the car, I must have put my wallet on my lap with the two new videos and then it's fallen to the ground as I alighted the car when my wife dropped me off at the bicycle shop after the video drop off and pick up.
I returned to the bicycle shop and scanned the ground with lights on high beam and Maglite, all to no avail.
Reported my wallet, which had CCs and DL, as lost to the NSW Police Assistance Line (131444).
Returned to the car for the third time with a torch to search the crevices and realised I'd totally forgotten about the
Polo 6R's Asset Protection System that prevents losses of the type I apprehended.
Has anyone else thought they lost something only to find the Polo's APS had saved it?
APS scans passenger's laps before they alight and secures any assets, that would otherwise fall outside the car, safely within the vehicle.
What a relief! VW APS saves the day!
