Paint protection / detailing recommendations?

I've done nothing to my polo since delivery. Should I really need to?

What should be done in terms of paint protection or detailing? Something that would make washing less frequent would be good. The films I think are an oversell?

Product recommendations or Sydney based places that do it would be good.

No I didnt pay 1,500 at the dealer for paint protection, sounded like a con... car paint should be decent these days lol

Car Care Products or Reflect Effect.

It does depend on what you want out of your paint protection. There's a lot available.

Opti-Coat is perfect if you want an apply and almost forget (regular washing is still needed of course) paint protection.

Think of paint protection as a sacrificial layer against the elements, bit like using sunscreen on yourself to prevent sunburn.
