I have a CB radio but they're illegal to use while driving just like a phone.

I suggest everyone downloads the app Heytell, it's basically a walkie talkie app. We can swap info beforehand. Plus it has a GPS function which can show on a map where your friends are if you enable it!

I'm sure there will be the odd fart (not from myself) but seeing as myself / Baracuda are going to chill at the back of the Convoy we will probably be the most active "hey guys, we got held up by the lights" xD hahaha

Hahaha, exactly! We'll do our best to keep up. As long as we have a few places to stop and re-group along the way, we'll be fine.

Loftus oval will be a bit of a detour. You guys will be going backwards and then going back south again. There's that McD corner of Heathcoate rd and Princes HWY we could meet at.

Just had a look at the RFS website, there is currently an out of control fire just north of Maq pass.

I guess we need to keep an eye on conditions and these fires as the last thing we want to do is be caught near road closures / blocks during these testing / tough times for fire fighters / police and civilians.

I drove maq pass on Friday, all good, nothing in the way of blocks at that stage. I think it should be ok unless something drastic happens over the next couple of days, whether is meant to deteriorate again though. I also went down into Kangaroo valley via Nowra rd, great bit of road kinda like a smaller steeper version of the pass, just curious if this is the route down?

Okay well lets hope so KEZ yeh it will be the route down so from Mac pass down to kangaroo and then back up then home ... Will do a few stops along the way aswell
