Umm I don't doubt what you saw but I read in the manual somwhere that it only displays boost at +/- 13 PSI (or somthing like that so I'm not sure how you got 39. Sure it wasn't displaying boost in KPA?

Also as I have said it reads OBDII data so its not like it makes the stuff up. It reads what the ECU puts out and from what a can see with VCDS using the OBD read mode - both data is the exact same.

I just dont trust the UG (and it looks ****e)
There are 2 different boost settings, one which is higher than it actually is, the other which is the accurate one.

Irrespective of looks, I bought it for a function and for my purpose it works just fine, even though I am generally more style driven than many other people

Not sure if this has been covered before but for gauges I use the ELM 327 OBD-II reader (eBay $10-$20) and the Torque app on the Samsung S4 - looks good and response times are very acceptable. Very cheap but effective solution.

Has anyone got the fiscon basic-plus from kufatec? Says its compatable but would be hessatent to try it first. And I don't need the bluetooth.
It says its red screen only but shows a picture of it on white MDF.

              P3 Gauge

As far as I know, the E-MFA add on doesn't work due to the OBD/CANBUS setup on the polo.

Got the ultra gauge and it seems to be pretty good.. Value for money if you ask me heaps of gauges to chose from
Gav what gauge do you use for boost? I'm using the boost pressure psi gauge does anyone know what boost the cars are meant to run in a gti? My car seems to vary from 16 pound to 20 pound and I can't seem to find anything to be sure

Anything out there other than VCDS displays EGT?

EGT? If you mean exhaust temp then yeah UltraGauge should do something close to it as you can read the O2 sensors pre and after the cat. I would assume you could pull temp data from the sensor.

Would this be legal to use while driving in Victoria if its secured in a phone cradle?
