Hi All,

Just recently i booked my Polo in with Quattro's to have my DSG tune modified to include the 350Nm torque limiter option. The booking was about a month in advance as Quattro's are pretty busy.

On my way to Quatto's to drop the car off and received a call from Brian asking how far away i was... he let me know that there was a problem... Sigh

Got to Quattro's only to find the DSG tool hadn't arrived.... Arrrrrgh, nothing can be done now... Back home i go...

A week or so later we re-booked the car and finally the DSG tool had arrived

Upon picking the car up Brian let me know they had a few issues with a broken cable in the tool (SIGH again!) however, for some reason my car had already been tuned with the 350Nm modification rather than the standard DSG tune

WINNING!

So after waiting i only had to pay for the labor and parts for my APR Engine Mount Insert

Interesting, you didn't get the HP dsg tune by chance? Might it just be that as part of the tune, so the car doesn't throw a hissy fit the torque limit is raised...? A question Guy can only answer

yeah it was the HP tune... Apparently James & their 'DSG tune partner' weren't sure why my car already had the 'higher' tune...
