  • Radio question (presets)

One of my preset radio stations has lost it's name, and is only showing the frequency.

This happened after I changed some of the stations that are preset.

Is there a way to bring back the name of the station, as all of the other presets still show the name and that is my preference.

It is a RCD 310 radio.

    Thanks

All vw radios show station names now even the basic 310...some times if the frequency is out by just 1 it will not put the name up even tho it sounds ok....VDUB....

        Things to check:

-Make sure you have radio text enabled in the options menu

-Make sure you are in the city/have good radio reception

Then try tuning to your frequency and pressing and holding down the preset button you want to save it in. Could be when you saved it it couldn't download the radio text and the radio name couldn't be saved in the preset so the frequency was displayed instead.

I have had this a few times. Hope it helps.

Just manually scroll to the frequency in question and hold down the preset button for a few seconds to reset it - should force it to lookup the station name if it is being broadcast and you are in a good reception area.
