just booked my 77TSI in for the 30,000km service and i was looking to see how much i should be expecting to fork over.

Depending on where anywhere from $350 - $420 as they do the brake fluid as 30,000k is the 2 year service

I paid a dealer $372 plus I supplied my own oil for the Passat for the same service. They did the same on both cars

Can I ask which engine oil they will accept for the 77TSI and what brake fluid also. Thanks very much

Well I dont know what they would use but I supply Penrite Enviro+ which is a VW approved oil for longlife and both petrol and diesel motors.
You can also use a 502/505 rated approved oil As you havent said where you are getting it serviced its a bit hard to say.

Ask them what they use prior to going and post it here.

Brake fluid rating is listed in your manual as well as the oil rating.

My dealer said use Castrol Professional III longlife which most dealers sell at $93 for 5 L However they told me it was $120 in a service so I bought my own much cheaper.
