Vinyl wrapping: Thoughts and consensus?

Thinking of wrapping my roof gloss black as per photo below with Carbon Demon:



Also considering black bonnet or carbon fiber wrapped bonnet or maybe a V taper along the creases of the bonnet but think it might be a but much or a tad ricey.

I wouldn't do the bonnet, it looks tacky imho.

The roof is alright.

IMO, the lines on the polo bonnet aren't there to support a colour split. On the roof would look nice.s

It's a bit pointless from an objective point of view, but styling is a subjective matter - so if you like it, then do it.

Don't do the bonnet, it will look horrid. Also, don't do carbon wrap because I looks nothing like carbon fibre, it looks like cheap vinyl wrap with a pattern in it.

I've done the black gloss vinyl wrap on my CW Polo's roof with Carbon Demon, really happy with the result. Michael is great to deal with also. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Does it clean okay? Did it affect your paint protection? Easy to clean? Does it get those cleaning paint spirals easily?

How do the edges look close up? Any peeling or does it look shabby/rough? Or do you get that OEM finish?

I got price quote from Michael from Carbon demon earlier for the 6R, posted below:

Highly recommend getting the roof done, I have just had mine done up here in Brisbane (by Wrap Starz) gloss black roof on candy white best part is it protects the paint from scratches, and if you change your mind on the colour it can be removed.
