^ part reason why I'm swapping to Renault...they don't dic* around their customers...if you spot a cheaper price on their website they honor it straight away.
Come on Clio RS...hurry the bleep up to Australia! >.<

We've been dealing with Barry Bourke Berwick Renault and they've been good. We've only had one service so far but knowing that the next two will only be $199 is always a good thing. Even Renault's head office listens to what you say, for example, when I emailed them about the stupid whining that the engine makes they replied the next day and within about a week they got someone down to Barry Bourke to have a look at it. They never actually fixed it, but hey, at least they tried! They also said that if whatever component was making that noise failed, even outside the warranty period, it would be replaced no questions asked. It's also good knowing you've got a Nissan engine, mine's from the base X-Trail and the R.S Clio's is from the Pulsar SSS. Just don't buy the diesel, it's actually a Renault engine...
^ apparently the engine is Nismo tuned in the upcoming R.S Clio, Nismo tuned suspension, and the fit-out is done in Renault' factory in France...and my first car was a mint condition unmodified Pulsar SSS...most reliable car ever!

Then assuming Renault's screwed everything together correctly in France, it should work great. If only mine wasn't made in bloody Turkey...
Anyway, will let you know what I've been charged after Thursday.
Wow, sometimes car service surprises can be pleasant. I have just picked up my Mk7 Golf 90 TSI manual from its first 15,000km service at Wippells VW in Toowoomba. The capped price service is quoted at $292 on VW Australia's website for my model but Wippells charged $290.40. That included a wash too. The labour part of that was $126.50 + GST and then there was the usual $15 environmental levy.
