  • Where to get non-LED bright white festoon bulbs?

The standard festoon bulbs are very yellow and I want to change them over to something whiter (non-LED).

Hoping to get something that is 4000k like this:
Philips Blue Vision Ultra W5W 501 (Twin Pack) | PowerBulbs

Strange that they have them for W5W bulbs but not festoon bulbs.

    Any ideas?

Non-LEDs btw, the LEDs are too much trouble.

    Hi,

Why do you think LEDs are too much trouble?

    We specialise in LED upgrades.

If you are interested you can come around to my office in Lansvale and I can test fit some different types to show the effects?

that is awesome, im literally down the road!

i got interior LEDs from powerbulbs.com no errors, but they have a few issues:
      - when in the auto mode (lights on when doors open and unlock) they remain dimmly on
      - when changing the modes on the front lights (between on, off and auto) the back flicker
      - flickering when lifhts power down

i don think this can be overcomed, maybe with resistors, but given the heat this would make, this would probably burn the plastics (seen it happen to others). wouldnt stop the flicker on power down either.

do you guys have a solution?

also looking for the led stripes for front DRL!

would love to try local so i don't waste more money on half solutions

I've got the Philips LEDs from power bulbs and had the same issue. So I put a stock one back in to stop it but then you have one yellow light. So I got the bulbs you listed above and it's much better. HAving two LEDs in the front is enough and the filemant bulb is white enought to blend in with no yellow.
