Urgent Immediate help!
Hi fellow 6R folk. So I've done a fair amount of reading on these forums, research, youtube videos etc and I am quite certain I want the Polo GTI MY13.5.
I'm going in to test drive it tomorrow at Barloworld Bayside in Melbourne. I noted that VW did 1.5% finance in Jan this year. Barloworld quoted me over the phone a rough estimate of 6.99% finance.
Now like everybody I'm looking at making the best (ie lowest) deal possible. 30,888 they have for GTI drive away. Which is fine, maybe I can knock it to 30K but I doubt any lower.
The finance piece is my interest and I didn't notice many threads discussing so had to create my own. As I'm heading in tomorrow this is URGENT.
Whats the best finance rate people think is achievable or they themselves have recieved lately from VW finance (as thats who gives Barloworld their finance anyways....).
Is it possible for me to achieve 1.5% and remind them they did it in January? I should also mention I can put 10,000 down on this car immediately. Only 20 will be financed and I need the option to pay out "extra" repayments of whatever amount I like without penalty.
