Good evening gentlemen. Unfortunately this is a well and truly off topic thread now. From post 13 onwards it became wayward.
If this thread doesn't naturally return to the original topic then the posts past 13 will be deleted and protagonists as per the forum rules (and no, if you don't like how I moderate, escalating this won't change it) will be penalised.
Thanks for the entertainment - if you would like to continue the semantic debate in the tuning forum you're more than welcome to start a new thread there. Mick.
LOL
You're not wrong!
carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
My business is taking delivery of one in RS with comfort pack tomorrow - won't get to drive it much as it is interstate but in a fortnight I will get a go at it and give some feedback from there.
Has anyone driven (or have) a 77tsi comfortline manual 2013? I would just like to receive some feedback on how it performs:
*In and around the city
*On long drives esp. the freeways
*around hilly areas
Interested in purchasing this model in the next few weeks.
Cheers
77TSI, best car i have ever driven, love it, job done, whats next...
okay, if i had to respond to your original points.
* In and around city, perfect, certainly punchy enough to hold its own.
* Freeways and long drives... very comfortable.. seats are good and the GTI seats that I retrofitted are even better (go the tartan, leather is for old people (sorry old people )) ride is tight yet compliant.
* Hilly areas never had an issue, the BEST thing about that is the hill start control that grabs the brakes for 1.5 seconds until you release the clutch, works flawlessly imho, one of the best features.
My Car(s): 2011 6R TSI Comfortline (Pepper Silver),
If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)
