  • Will Golf MK6 Front Seats swap, fit and plug in Ok?

I would like to upgrade the polo 6R front seats with Golf VI seats.

Provided that both are manual adjustments, are they direct swap without any other difficulties? Such as seat belt chimes or sensors for airbags, bottom rail mounting bolt holes and so on?

I dont think they r a direct swap
Polo has the bluetooth module with a draw under the front seat
Having driven both, as a result of the above, the front seats ride higher in a Polo

do report back if you ever try as i also find that in the polo you do seem to ride rather high

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

        No they will definately not.
Having actually tried this the mounting points in the rails are about half an inch wrong in both width and diameter. On top of this the seat belt mounting points for mine (mk6 golf r seats) are also different compared to my stock seats. Theres also a metal clip on the golf seats which wasnt there on the polo seats.
Unfortunately for both of us, without a decent amount of work they wont
They did look cool test fitting though
