    What is the "official VW Oil Consumption Tolerance" for getting the vehicle looked at and repaired.

      Berwick volkswagen told me 1L/1000km on saturday when I was in there.
      My Car(s): 2011 6R TSI Comfortline (Pepper Silver),
      If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

          Yeah, 500ml per 1000km was mentioned to me. So I guess that works out to Oil warning light every 2000km.

            It used to be 1L per 1000km, but since about 1 year ago it dropped to 0.5L per 1000km. (its in your owners manual)

            0.5L per 1000KM on any VW engine.......VDUB....

              I put inn 600ml and I get 1500km roughly .

                These levels of oil consumption in the 21st century are totally out of line. My first POS car 35 years ago used less than this, blew blue not black smoke though & was put off the road!!!
