  • VAG Twincharged Engine and 7Spd DSG Possible Group Action

If anyone has experienced similar issues to me with their Polo GTI (or twincharged engine vehicle), and are interested in joining a group legal action, please contact me. The issues may be as below:

High & excessive oil consumption (regardless of VW's "spec")
    Pre-ignition & detonation issues
Abnormal amounts of black oily soot at the vehicle rear
    DSG and clutch issues
    Innefective and multiple repairs
Perceived lack of transparency and truthfulness from the VW network

Please PM me or contact me on info@vwpologti.com

Please provide me with your return email address and a very brief outline of your problem, and how you would ideally like to see the issue resolved. I have on board a highly qualified individual (previous member of the bar) who has had multi-million dollar class action wins against the government. His identity can & will be provided to you if you contact me with the above information.

    Regards
    RossP

    Polo GTI Possible Group Action

For all of you that have whinged or complained, Ross has already been in court over this, he has already taken the first bullet from both the CTTT (civil tribunal in Sydney, like VCAT or QCAT) and Volkswagen Group Australia.

If you, like myself and Ross genuinely want something done, then get on board. I know of a few of you that have already bailed with successfully fighting for partial refunds of the purchase price of the vehicle, but what about us still with these cars? I have heard rumor that a 2011 Polo GTI was attempted to be traded in last month on a competitor's product.

The owner was offered $6000 trade in.

The dealership knew about the issues with the model of vehicle and didn't want anything to do with it. We all get on here and complain about the problems with these cars, it's the first thing that comes up in google is our very own problems register, followed by the oil consumption thread. I for one don't like any of our chances of retaining any decent resale value on these cars, let alone trade in price.

VGA screwed us all. Time to screw back.

I sold my car because of the issues and got out whilst the going was good (I had the longest stretch without adding oil after the hose was fitted and had just had clutches replaced) but good on you for putting something together. I wish you the best with it, I lost money by selling but no where near what is mentioned (6 grand for a trade in wow that's terrible). I just don't get how car VW can get away with this when there are so many clearly defective cars where drivers should be given either a refund or a replacement.

Hi Karly. Thanks for your support. I had noticed the bad time you had with your car from your previous forum posts. Glad you have seen your way out of it, although you lost money. Wonder how the person that bought it is going?
Anyway, we will need numbers to get this off the ground. Please let anybody you can know about the cause.
