I picked up my brand new GTI today, looking very nice in Oryx White with xenons. The dealer had done a great job in preparing the car and and I am delighted with it so far.
One thing that has surprised me is the absence of footwell lights. My MY12 Polo TSI that I just traded against the GTI, had footwell lights fitted as standard, but they are nowhere to be seen on the new GTI
. It's minor, I know, but disappointing. Has the GTI never had footwell lights or is this some sort of economy drive from VW? Seems weird to me that a "lesser" car like the TSI would have them installed, but not the more expensive GTI.
