  • professional detailer brisbane - amazing work

    Hi Guys,

I should start by saying i have no involvement with this business, but i felt the need to share this with you guys who are as picky about their cars appearance as me.

I recently had a concrete drip on my new metallic black MY12.5 Polo GTI... suffice to say i tried to remove with the usual washes and cloths but to no avail.

I called Richard at Timeless after reading some positive reviews. He said because my car was in good nick he could do an interior detail, outside detail and clay bar for $200 and would come to my work in the CBD on the Thursday before easter.

Suffice to say he did an amazing job, car was like new. Some exterior pics attached.

Anyone know someone as skilled on the Gold Coast?

I have some paint damage from fruit bats. The local mobile detailer came round and tried the clay repair bit but no go. They say it is between the clear coat and the paint so it has to get a more advanced repair which they couldn't handle......

Quick tip, if you get bat **** on your car, and know u cant wash it for more than 24hrs, Spit on it!!! Spit works as a buffer and neutralises any alkaline or acidic compounds in da poo

Top tip - I will remember that one - but my damage is from the fruit they ate...the mango stain went straight through the clear coat and is now "stuck" between the layers.

                  Painful....

By better quality I assume you mean a better cutting compound?

I'm a nurse and I know my limitations
The detailer tried and he looked like he knew what to do.
Having a painter look at it this week.

Isopropanol is the best to remove bird/bad droppings. Do not use a quick detailer as the glossing and polymers will seal/lock the acidity in the paintwork

So you either keep a small bottle of iso, or maybe consider some bird wipes from autoglym

one other thing, any detail work you do. You should always ask what products they are using and consider that if you are paying under $300 than usually you are getting some sort of 'product that masks' and makes the cars paintwork look 'nice' but will not last .. but that depends on who is doing your car.

Ask the questions, as you'd be surprised.
