Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Camber/caster adj. top mount or camber bolt

    Hi all,

    Has anyone have suggestion if I could acquire a camber adj. top mount or camber bolt for the 2012 polo gti 6r?

    KMAC in Sydney have them, but they are pretty, well, average in my opinion. Apparently they have great customer service though....

      Have you guys got any feedback on the K-MAC top mount for Polo 6R? How far is the adjustment? Any increased in NVH?

      Or if you have any other suggestion, as the K-Mac seems pretty steep to what I used to pay for Eibach adjustable top mount for Mini Cooper S.

        Nobody as far as I know has installe them because for the money, they aren't all that great. There are cases where they have caused irreparable damage to people's cars that fitted them an call me a cynic, but there's not much point increasing camber that much on these cars, unless you a) like frying the insides of tyres or b) have too much body roll.

          Few sets going onto 9N3 Polos. Some good and bad in the overall process and results so far. Have a look.
