Aluminium Pedals Cover

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a set of DSG aluminium pedals cover for a 77 TSI.

I'm assuming the ones from the GTI would fit, but for the life of me, am not able to locate its part number(s). Have also been through with my local VW parts department but even there it's not coming up in ETKA for a GTI vin.

eBay has LHD ones but not RHD. Google research also shows that these pedals are actually of an Audi TT.

Happy to go down the Audi path but hoping someone out there has done this mod who could advise.

That's what I thought as well. I actually had gone ahead and purchased one on eBay (Tuning Fanatics - based in Germany) but the seller was kind enough to let me know that those were for LHD and noticed I was from a RHD market.

I also queried another online Euro VAG shop and they reckon that they are different. Could the accelerator pedal be slightly different or something?

But if someone has actually done it, then happy to pursue the LHD ones too

Yeah I suppose they could have slight differences, but it would make more sense if they were the same (cheaper to manufacture etc.)

The Polo GTI doesn't have an aluminium foot rest peddel so I don't see how there could be any difference? The throttle and brake peddel would still be the same size

Do you reckon one of you helpful and friendly GTI owners could have a look at their own pedal covers and let me know what the part numbers are

Just the accelerator and brake pedals....

If not, I might have to take a punt.

I was doing a bit more research today and it occurred to me that perhaps I can go with the Audi A1 pedals. In their accessories catalog, there is an aluminium pedal covers option. I'm thinking I could take a punt on these instead.

Also, they are saying the accelerator pedal is smaller for the LHD as opposed to RHD.
