  • "Growlier" exhaust for a '12 77TSI

Does anyone have any recommendations or advice on where to buy or who to buy from.....we want a bit deeper sounding exhaust. Drove a Scirocco the other day and totally loved the sound. I know we won't be able to get the exact sound, but what's the best options to get a bit deeper sounding exhaust? And not the constant buzzing you often here from modded civics etc, but a good quality rumble?

    Thanks guys

Rear muffler delete... Well that's your cheapest option. I will be trying it with my Trendline soon but I won't get the same noise. Apparently more bassy/deeper tone. Have a look at the video on the rear muffler delete thread

I too am after then same!! Just something a little noiser/free flowing. Coming from a mk5 GTI, something like that noise wise would be good (as in level, obviously sound would be different)

So would I just go to a decent mechanic and ask him to delete the rear muffler, or is this something simple and easy I can do? Sorry been awhile since I've worked on cars, and it was on Japanese, so not completely sure as this is our first VW

            Thanks guys

An exhaust shop is a better option. I'd be asking for a bolt-on / bolt-off solution so it can be returned to stock if need be due to the noise.
