  • Viezu tune/CAI Group Buy Sydney

    Hey guys,

I thought I'd make this thread to help try organise and settle on a date for people in Sydney who are keen on the Viezu tune and CAI. I've been chatting to Simon of Viezu, and Stuart from BMR, and they are able to do group install for $1299 each for tune + CAI.
Personally I'm looking at installing in early April once I get back from overseas and service the car.

So far we have two people also interested in CAI only, two people as 'maybe' for the tune + CAI, and myself as a definite for the tune + CAI. A few with Golfs are also in.

For those who have PM'd me, please post in here with what you are interested in, so we can have a head count and clarity. And feel free to add yourself for anyone who is interested too (Golfs welcome too)

    Cheers,
    Dan

I'm one of the ones down for the CAI only! I've been told that there won't be stock till march but march isn't too far away anyway so it's all good. Gives me time to save some money up haha

I'm not in Sydney though, I'm 3 hours south in Canberra.

Hey mate! I'm picking up my GTI on Thursday (there are no words to describe my level of excitement!), so depending on what funds I have left and when we agree on doing it, I'd be down to be a part of the group buy.

Early April would probably suit me too tbh, at least I'll have a month or so to break in the new beast and save some extra coin before jumping on board the mods path

Hi still waiting for the gti, interested in tune and Intake.
Any idea should a new car be run in before a tune?

I would run-in the car first before tune to be on the safe side. When do you take delivery?

Congrats! I can still remember the excitement when I got to see my car for the first time

Re: Viezu tune/CAI Group Buy Sydney

Good stuff Dan thanks for creating the thread. Maybe if this thread is moved into a more general area then could gain more exposure to non Polo owners such as myself

I'm a MKV GTI owner and interested in the CAI + tune package. Happy to make it earlier than April if anyone is interested.

Anything I need to know about running the pogo in?

CaddyR, the engine is pre-run before ever being fitted to the car do I wouldn't worry about it. I'd give it a month or 2 o ownership though just so if you have any issues (highly likely) they can be sorted as well as getting a feel for the car and getting used to it.

Vdubboys81, no. This is only for the GTI.

I might be in for the intake alone...

It will depend how my car is going at the time though ><!

                          Currently still being repaired.

Viezu are still waiting on stock to be manufactured so once they have enough stock I am sure you will all hear about it very quickly!
