Demanding a replacement car or refund

My 12.5 Polo is booked in for an Oil Consumption test on the 16th of this month and I have under 7000kms on the clock.
Thats after 2 failed hose replacements and the car only going 1000kms after the hose replacement for the low oil warning to come on.
So the dealership is very interested indeed

Ah yes, you've just raised a valid point.

The dealership won't be interested (Nor will VW for that matter), in doing an oil consumption test before the 15,000klm service.

The engine rebuild seems to have fixed the issues I was having. I have driven 1500km and the engine oil level has not moved, there is next to no soot on the hatch and none of the spark plugs have failed. I am now feeling what a properly built polo gti should feel like. It is still early days so let's wait another 5000km before I feel I'm in the clear.
