Im interested, but only question I have is around performance vs APR tune + HP CAI kit? The APR/HP stuff is all documented on the APR website, but I cant find any info on the Viezu tune or CAI. Also this Viezu package is significantly less than the APR/HP option... any quirks ?

-does the tune have different map settings to choose?
-does it include a dyno run?
-what is the power increase kw and Torque?
-voids warranty? hrmmmmm

Hi guys !

Ok so the Viezu packages we do are with our VARdesign hardware here in Australia/NZ, and through our boy racer arm - Viezu Racing for all of you who are after more than just a tune. You can still stay subtle - CAI, DP, Tune is subtle and savage - but then start throwing into the mix full TBE's and whatever else and we can make it as crazy as you want.

The VARdesign website is currently being built and it's a mammoth task so all the data is generally on forum threads, Facebook / Twitter etc but will be on designated areas soon.

We first launched our Golf R and Golf GTi 6 and 5 packages - we have all sorts of carbon fibre products, front lips, body kits, diffusers, wings etc, coil overs for the GTi's - Big Brakes kits you'll all going to get giddy over I promise you, and full exhausts, some bi modal, some twin pipe, some quad, some loud, some quiet - and a range of sizing options from 2.5 to 2.75, 3.0 and even a monster 3.5" DP option for the Golf R.

The POLO GTi has been at the face of development for a while - we aim for safety on these things - and run them a touch richer especially top end, where they can be lean out of the factory. It's about efficiency on this motor, and seeing gains from it - rather than cranking up the boost and holding on.

The tunes are smooth linear and torque biased - with official R&D showing gains of 25hp and 55nm on our Technical Centre's climate controlled, scientifically run dyno.

The Carbon CAI adds a touch of hiss and induction mayhem at the top end at WOT especially.

Our Exhausts are up there with the best, as are gains. We use high flow mufflers in a range of configurations to best suit the car.

These also benefit from a FMIC upgrade and can seriously reduce the temps when you need it. We're looking at FMIC upgrades still and need another car in VIC soon so anyone down there getting a Polo GTi tune - please give us a heads up and we'll sort something out for you.

We also have Carbon body kits, wings, diffusers, front lips/splitters etc and Carbon bonnets available soon. Bonnets are track use only.

Gradually all this info will filter onto the websites and we'll have online shopping carts etc etc but for now it's a task to get it all together, such is the scale of options we're launching for such a massive variety of vehicles.

these are all questions i'd like to know...

-Not on these no - in all our testing of offering more than one tune level 99% of clients only ever use their favourite tune (and generally the most powerful one). We take a full read of your stock coding, then provide to our Technical Centre your requirements and Mod list so the tune can be written to meet your requirements.
-Depends if your local Dealer has a dyno, but most do and it's a matter for the Dealer as to whether they'll throw in a free dyno run (again, most will - where are you based?)
-See post below
- Void warranty.... moot point. Technically speaking any after market modification can mean a Dealer can void a part of your warranty but it depends on the wording of the warranty terms and should, technically speaking, mean they have to prove the aftermarket part etc caused the issue. I won't go into it too much depth here - there are other threads about warranties and the such.

For now we're doing direct shipping, and they'll gradually filter into our Dealers too as stock is replenished - as they're flying out the door fast.

They'll rrp at $849 including the carbon piping kit and all extra hoses etc - the full kit.

The Launch Special is $449

Tune and CAI package is $1399 on special this month - and for forum members who book in at the same time we're doing $1299 at participating Dealers.

Thanks Simon, i'm located in VIC.

Not just interested in the tune & CAI but also external upgrades like diffuser, lip etc when they are available for Polo GTI.

Would be great to see pics of all these too. If pics are available before the website is up and running, please post them here
