Would anyone know if a workshop manual is available anywhere for 6r Polo?

Can anyone advise me on how to remove the plastic shroud which tucks under the bottom of the windscreen and covers the strut towers? I need to gain easy access to the top strut bolts on top of towers, in view of fitting H&R springs.

You can download a fairly comprehensive manual from ERWIN have to subscribe and pay 25 Euros for a 24 hour use and you can download all the manuals you want for just any VW. They come in sections like exterior body, Interior, Brakes, Suspension etc

I have most of the Polo ones but not the exterior body section

Would the exterior section cover how to replace the lower plastic panel (beneath the numberplate) on a TDi Comfortline. I damaged mine turning into a driveway too fast, and VW penrith want $300 for the part, and $170 to fit it!

If it seems simple enough i might attempt doing the fitting myself!

If its the black bit with the little air dam type piece it just pushes in with clips I did a similar thing and it went back in OK

Yeah, its like a honeycomb sort of pattern, sort of. Its the bit under the number plate between the front fog lamps.

I think $170 is highway robbery for it to be fitted. Hence i'd rather attempt it myself if possible.

Would the workshop manual cover that or not?

Well by the time you pull the broken one out you will know how it goes back in I guess. It will be in the body exterior section which I haven't got.

I mean the undertray behind the bumper Not the lower grille
