Anyone try a bury cradle?

I understand that there is both a VW Bury and generic Bury cradle for the iPhone 4...

Any news on a iPhone 5 version?

Alternatively, anyone use the Bury universal cradle? Will some vag com update be needed?

Also, any ideas if mounting a iPhone like this improves the bluetooth sound?
Currently for the 2012 polos, it goes iphone > bluetooth > bury > bluetooth > car
resulting in bluetooth audio sounding like a pay phone!
On top of this, any ideas if you get MDI control via the bury dock?

Any news on a iPhone 5 version?

I doubt there will be one for a while, as Apple has introduced some crazy rules and costs associated with the lightning connector found on the iPhone 5. Every cable and dock must have a specific Apple-made connector with a specific authentification chip built in, and each cable/dock must have Apple approval (can take up to three months).
