QLD Get together and Cruise?

Hey guys. so Ive been thinking that its about time some of us Queenslanders got together and had a good cruise. Im just a young guy so ive never really done anything like this before so Im not sure if id be able to organised it. so this thread is just to see who is keen and take any suggestions on when and where. i was thinking we could go threw mount glorious road, then down through Summerset dam. then make our way back down the old highway. but obviously i am open to suggestions. as for the date, i was thinking a Saturday or Sunday sometime after Christmas

I would reccomend Nerang - Tyalgum - Tugun as they have some exceptional driving roads there.

I'll be going to the QLD VW happy laps myself, should be fun to see the variety of cars.

We had 2 euro get together's and a happy laps in December.
Another happy laps is scheduled in January.

If you were to propose a date and time and route i am sure people would come but Christmas is notoriously hard to get attendance becasue everyone is away.
Best bet would be to come up with something and just see how many people you get.

Also, golf.net usually have a cruise on.

i agree with team_v, chuck a thread up in the events section and see who is keen, at worst you'll go for a nice drive by yourself but you'll likely get at least a few people. im always keen for a good cruise as are alot of the queensland guys
