ticking noise from a cold start up.

i experienced a slight ticking noise when i started my car up this morning. i have read this was common with the 1.4tsi engines on the mk5 golf and scirocco. but i just want to know if anyone else experienced this? just a side note ive done about 1400kms in the car so far.

AFAIK from previous threads its meant to be the direct injection system doing it's thing
