    Hi Guys

    Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere else but I can't seem to find anything on it just yet.

    Whenever I make a call using the blue tooth function in my car, it is all fine if the person I call picks up the phone and hangs up after the conversation...however, if the person I tried calling DOES NOT answer my call and it rings out, then for some reason the call continues to remain active and I cannot do anything to deactivate it! In other words, I cannot seem to hang up from my end! I can't even switch back to the radio or even switch off the RCD510 stereo system (by pressing and holding down the power button)!! Nothing seems to work..it just remains like this and the timer on the call keeps ticking along but I can't do anything to stop it...the only way I can end it is to stop the car, switch off the engine and start it up again...then, and only then can I use the radio or make another call using the blue tooth again.

    Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or is it something I have to bring back to the dealers to solve?

    Thanks guys..any suggestions will be much appreciated.

    I know this might sound like a stupid question but are you pressing the "hang up" icon on the rcd 510 screen once you have finished with the call? This may be the issue, I am yet to call anyone and have this happen with my newly installed Bluetooth but I do know that the few calls I have made remain active until I press the hang up icon.

      I press that icon like a thousand times and still nothing..its like the rcd 510 screen freezes and you can't don anything..can't switch to radio..can't power off..can't cancel the call by pressing the red hang up icon...like I said, the only way is to stop the car, switch off the engine and restart again..very frustrating indeed!

        Back to the dealer then bud, it's the only thing I can think of. It's under warranty, let them sort it out

          Yep..thats what I gathered..thanks for your help anywayz Gavs

          Plus..I checked my oil level the other day and its not even full!!! Can't believe the dealer didn't even top up the oil properly!!!

              Surely hope not...only has a total of 120kms on the clock!!!

                Never know with these engines.... But with that much on the clock, most likely it was never checked at pre delivery.
