RACV whats the difference between 6R UPG and 6RMY12

Hi,

I am trying to get insurance for my new car which is coming on Friday. It's the Polo GTI 12.5 with Moon roof. When I try to get a quote from RACV they asked me if I have the Polo GTO 6R UPG or 6RMY12. Which should I tell them?

I just got insurance from RACV today for my Polo which I pickup on Friday. I listed it as a 6R UPG(thinking this means upgrade) as its a 12.5 not a 12. She checked the Vin number with the dealer and took my money so I would assume there are no issues

UPG is the 12.5, same as RACQ

Thanks all. I will ensure I get the UPG.

For me the UPG is $700 and the MY12 is $850. Big difference.

NRMA only had the 12.5 GTI as the 6RMY12
