Glovebox/Footwell Lighting

I've searched and I don't believe we have ever really touched base on this particular topic.

Has anyone managed to find a solution to mounting a light inside of the glovebox?

I know of one person who has done the footwell mod, but has anyone else done it? If so, care to share information?

Weird I thought there was a light there anyways...?? Thats stupid if there isn't

Where? Glovebox or footwells?

I don't have both

In some countries footwell lights come stock, others don't have anything except the provision for it. Might have to look into the kufatec kit.

Yeah for the footwell lights the Kufatec is the best way. Get the auto lights while you're there .

AFAIK there is no OEM spot in the glovebox at all, so the OEM upgrade for that is only $10K (Golf GTI ) I've never really had problems seeing in there with the overhead lights.

WOW LOL dirt cheap glovebox solution! Just thought it was so strange to not have one in there.

Yeah I have been reading your AUTO headlight kit, so tempting but I'm not so patient at de-pinning. I'd love the coming/leaving home feature though. How did you order through them? Email first? Or just signed up and paid?

Reason I ask is I don't see if they deliver to AUS without registering.

Yup just sign up and it should be fine. It'll half work if you don't de-pin (I think the fogs won't work) so thats always an option
