  • Second Year Service

Just dropped my Polo in for its second year service. Total charge is $790 incl GST. Seems astronomical.

Originally on the phone I was quoted $648. When I got there they said that I should have been told that there was an additional $88 for an antibacterial filter for the air con. Then they added the GST which obviously wasn't quoted on the phone. $790 seems far too much for a service.

What has any one else paid?

Did you call any other dealers to compare quotes? I've had 3 services so far and paid no more than ~half that much for my Golf.
Some say he was the Stig... all we know is that he drives a VW Transporter.
