  • Polo lowered springs.

    I have been looking on the net and i have found a couple of different options for lowering my polo. just wanted to know what everyones opinion was and which brand i am better off going for should i just by the coilover option.

    It depends what your looking for. If you want lows without losing much your ride comfort then go with springs (even though i don't see the point, but each to their own) but if you want proper handling then coilovers or spring and strut combo are the way to go.

    I'm picking up coilovers soon because I want the adjustment, because I'm a perfectionist and prefer tweaking myself. A lot of ppl dont like the "rough" ride of them but to me I'm looking at performance not comfort.

    You won't find much on 6Rs out there but just use older Polo & Golf reviews as references.

        I'm not to worried about the ride but its only a trendline model 1.4 n/a so don't know if it is worth spending that extra cash on it when it hasn't got the power behind it.

          Depends what you want.

          My mate has a Jazz with coilovers, strut bars and a X bar and it is slow but fun around corners.

          Just because it is n/a doesn't mean you can't have fun.
