Polo R ????

Hey guys I noticed in the section entitled Polo appreciation...pics etc..., that someone has what appears to be a Polo R?

The plates show that it is in NSW.

Is this a factory car, or a custom job?

That is true, there is no such thing as a Polo R...but I sure do pull off a good look a like with all the oem kit

And Team_v its the ABT exhaust/Diffuser kit.

This month's UK Top Gear magazine begs to differ - looks like there'll be a Polo R out within the next 12 months.

It's a concept done for wothersee and until I see it, I can't see it coming to oz in production...

They have stated it will have DSG and will be only FWD.....It would of been awesome if it was AWD

I'm pretty sure it'll only ever be FWD. It's the Porsche Boxster syndrome - VW won't build a Polo with the potential to outperform the flagship from the Golf line.

They do say it's coming, and maybe even a hotter one, though for very limited production. But (yes there is one), I will believe it when I see it. It's been denied for years...
