Thanks, Eddie! Will let you know here how I go. Expecting a call from VW on Monday, so let's see.

      UPDATE:

VW won't do anything. I'm sick of it, Massaro Motors from Morwell told the customer service partially the truth, partially a lie.

The long and short of it is that I will try to polish the spider webbing off myself, probably with Eddie's help. (You reading this, Eddie? )

      Question:
Can you polish off fine scratches from the shiny black plastic pillar trims between front and rear door?

Not sure if I should start a new thread for this question. Replacing them is obviously not an option since that would definitely be pricey.

So here is my machine and what it can do. The link also shows it on a red car

I have no doubt that we can remove majority, if not all of the marring, webbing and swirls. Like I said, plastic polish too should work wonders on that B pillar.

I've got about 20 compounds, I'm sure we can sort it out LOL

Also, if you've got some time handy, watch some youtube tutorials on how to use the G220. It's an amateur machine, but it can still yield results similar to a rotary. I've done about 10 cars in my spare time, our cars are new, with the least amount of damage.

No stress, it'll be sorted the right way

            UPDATE:

A HUGE thanks to Eddie (fastlane) and his girlfriend!!! Thanks to their help my Polo is now practically scratch free! We spent all Sunday washing, cutting, polishing, waxing - and now the red pops beautifully! It's smooth like a baby's butt and so shiny, it's like a mirror!
