Dealer probably failed at coding for the RNS, typical... Don't sweat, it'll probably be all good once they get off their asses and get your car with the RNS to someone who actually has a clue (you'd hope one exists at the dealership).

Re the eBay cost of the RNS, these "refurbished" units for ~$1k exiting out of Luthania, or sometimes the UK if they're smart enough to have a UK address on eBay, are not legitimiate competition (read: stolen). $3.5k is pretty normal from the dealers and you would probably still expect at least $2k from legitimate alternative sources.

I would assume the dealer gave you a day and time to collect the car? This in mind I would not expect to have to second guess whether the muppets had done what they said they would do!

Any clues on the dealer location for future reference?

Picked it up last night.. The problem was something to do with the signal.. Probs wasnt plugged in haha. Great little car tho.. Feels much bigger then it actually is!

How many satelites should the gps pick up at any certain time.. Mine normally says 3-4. Is that the norm?

Yeah the best way to ID a MY12.5 Polo is the Sharkfin style antenna like the one I linked with a little removable antenna connected and a BT Touchscreen with cradle near the stereo. These two are unique to the MY12.5+ Polos

Do you have any first hand experience with the GIAC tune? Is there anything you can tell me about it?
