Bugger! There were a lot of flying ants around Perth on Saturday, but my car didn't look half that bad. That said, there were an amazing number of them inside the engine bay all over the engine cover and airbox etc when I did an oil check later on. I haven't looked inside the airbox, but I imagine it will be well populated, so I'll open it up and, if necessary, shake some corpses out of the filter. Yours might be the same?
