  • Yep, 17x8 ET35, running on stock tyres (stretched).

The slightly boosted contrast in that pic kind of masks the "imperfections" in height and makes it look a touch lower than it is.

Running H&R Coilovers (Part 29015-4). Got about 10mm further the coils can go in the rear, and front have heaps more they can go if I wanted it to...

Quick pic after a wash yesterday, to celebrate APR Stage 2, and Coilovers going in.

Going to drop it a touch further.

Nothing wrong with them, I'm going down a similar track myself with less expensive wheels, our dollar here prohibits being able to import name brands at a sensible price and I'm no wheel snob

[emoji51] thanks. Yeah I'm trying to find wheels that will suit it without blowing the bank as id rather put the extra money on good rubber.

            • New wheels on today and NO RUBBING and I've pushed it hard over my high speed test dips - VERY HAPPY
Just need to drop it a bit at the front.

              • Looks amazing Car_Nut! So thick looking.

I need to drop mine further (waiting to choose on which lip to have installed), but here's a pic of mine taken yesterday.

                • Thanks spare, they look better than my photos show.

I like yours too, the all black look. Nice photography as well.

                        • Just picked up my new Polo GTI with Luxury and DA packages. Man I love this car! Thinking about getting window tint and possibly paint protection shortly. Any other car care products which other owners could suggest for me to buy?

                            Great colour choice!!!!

                            1) Tinting - I've used Solartint in Sydney and Canberra. Never been let down and great price/service. My Polo cost me $350 for darkest legal tint.

                            2) Car Protection/ Care - I implore you to speak with these guys. They do it all. Even ask for a wax which is best suited to 'blue'.

                            Enjoy the new wheels!!

                              • Gee that blue is nice kinda wish I went the blue but I will be happy with white because I will be putting some black accessories around it. I have the carbon mirror covers and in putting in a led Vw badge replacing the front grill one that operates with the daytime running lights should look good I think
