If they keep tightening without actually getting tighter, fair chance you have stripped the nuts (they use grade 12.4 bolts) or you just didn't have them tight enough previously maybe.
Other options include Volkswagen Racing, Eibach, Neuspeed, KW, H&R maybe too. Aside from APR, Whiteline was the only company that made a rear anti roll bar.sigpic

Are these other options for front anti sway bar?
Thanks Guy_H but as I mentioned there is no point in me getting the rear as I already have plus the whiteline can be adjustable the APR cannot. What's the price for just the front if you don't mind me asking?Last edited by Bassik; 21-06-2012, 09:33 AM.GOLF GTI MY11 ADIDAS Candy White, Sunroof

Yep, for the front. I'll take a look for you if you post the pics but I think I might already know what the issue is, before I say anything though, I need the pics.sigpic

The APR Aus site says $425 each so I assume that applies to buying either the front or rear anti-roll bar.
edit - Guy's beat me to it
If you can keep tightening the nuts, then remove one have have a GOOD look at the threads both on the bolt and in the nut - one has yielded (hopefully the nut which is easier to replace). Did you use a torque wrench for the install?
When replacing the fasteners, I'd highly recommend you use Loctite ThreadLocker 242 or even StudLock 262 which will also lubricate the threads while assembling (giving more accurate installed tension).Last edited by kaanage; 21-06-2012, 10:48 AM.Resident grumpy old fart

Funny coz I got my mum's BF (Mechanic) to install it so if I you find any issues I'll know he ain't the best person to ask again for advise...Mind you he is a stressed mechanic and for the past 10 yrs has wanted to get out of the business...lol Oh and advised me to "NEVER BUY A VOLKSWAGEN" I so didn't listen!!!!GOLF GTI MY11 ADIDAS Candy White, Sunroof

Nobody is making anyone buy them - Personally I think the R&D & extra bracketry we developed is well worth the priceNo clothesline parts or U Bolts used in ours. I suppose the big difference is ours is 100% made in Australia, not China - downfall still of AUS manufactured goods is the price

So here is the install of my rear sway bar. The thread looks to be pretty normal compared to others I've seen but having tighten these I feel like I can just keep going and going and going....
Does it look right? I'm gunna need more grease I reckon.GOLF GTI MY11 ADIDAS Candy White, Sunroof

Ok, for a start, which bolts exactly are you continuously tightening? I can see that your install is missing the larger 6mm plates that mine has.sigpic
