G'day
Got my Vin number from Dealer last week and I have been putting in tracking link and Not Found has been coming up, I thought it looked like a cool vin number lots of z's so put it in a vw vin checker and it said the z's mean no number allocated, vehicle type, engine etc is the number a dud ? I will talk to Dealer but thought I would check here first. I was told car would be here mid may 2012.

It's normal to have a few zzz in the VW vin. When did you ordered your car?

Went into Dealership early March to look at TSI understanding the waiting list for GTi was long and he said your in Luck one arriving mid May, Red- Upgrades for 2012 I said Sweet sign me up, probably not mid may me thinks, just don't want to keep putting in a vin if it isn't correct.

It can take a couple of weeks from being given the vin to the car actually loading onto a ship.
Mine was given to me on 21/2 and it was loaded and set sail on 6/3. Before that it kept saying no records found.

What Polo are you getting?
Mine being the GTI also needed to be freighted by train from Spain to Germany so that takes time also.

I now see what model you are getting, we must have been posting st the same time
just keep inputting the vin i track and trace cargo ID, it will show up soon (make sure it's typed in correctly of course)
