VW Polo 77TSI Comfortline DRL staying on MY 12.5

Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a MY 12.5 Polo 77TSI with Bluetooth, MDI and DRL's as standard. The manual says you can turn this function off. The dealer says they are unable to. I have found something online about pressing indicator stalk while ignition is off etc but this doesnt work. Does it have to be programmed to do it ie with a VAGCOM. Thanks

The trick with the stalk does work, but there is a catch. You have to unlock the option to manually change the DRL with VCDS. After that it works..
