I have people doing that to me all the time. I'll be the first car at the red lights and someone will come up on my left, clearly wanting to get ahead of me when the lights turn green. Usually they underestimate my little red Polo and don't go hard enough and this is when I put my foot down and show them what the little 1.2 engine can do.

From day dot I always wanted a set of these time attack GramLights, but they were out of production for 3 or 4 years. I was lucky enough to find a set in the spec I needed for the gti so the $2700 price tag (centre caps included) didn't bother me.

They are super light at just under 7kg a corner and photos don't do them justice at all.

It all depends on who takes the photo

Now who is up for a VW polo 6R photoshoot sometime?

I saw an APR livery Polo go past me in the opposite direction in East Brisbane about a week ago. Although HP is nearby so thats probs why.

I do like the Candy White.

That will be one of us! - Moving shortly, but just around the corner to Coorparoo.

Polo is an awesome car around town.

Well i just had my sway bar installed last night by Truetrack. Ralph was happy to take my money and charge me an extra 70 for a wheel alignment. So Alignment, sway bar install and brake pad install (Remsa HP pads) and fluid flush with new Mintex brake fluid i got charged in total $400 for labour fyi.
Took the car out on the yarra boulevard and it handled great, nice and flat around the corners and not too lift off oversteery than what i expected with the rear bar. Tried to bed the brake pads in as best i could.
But all in all i have just spent $200 on a sway bar, $114 on front brake pads so a total of $720 and the car is nice. However i'm in two minds whether or not i should have just gone an ECU tune for the extra money over the handling and brake department, as it was either one or the other to be honest.

Are the Remsa HP pads what you got to gavs?

I really need better brakes and I would also think a tune and brake pads should come together if you get brake pads then consider a tune later on.

I'm actually surprised that whatever they use..??? Is stock it's remarkably bad for such a high torque car.
